Uzum Bank is the bank inside the Uzum ecosystem, and the word "promocode" means something different here than it does in a shop. A bank does not sell you goods, so there is no discount code to type at checkout. The offer attaches to the card itself, to cashback, and to conditions inside the ecosystem.
There are currently 3 active offers on the Uzum Bank page.
What a bank offer attaches to
The confusion comes from three different things sharing one name. They are worth separating.
- Referral code. Entered when you order a card. It gives no discount on a purchase — it attaches a bonus to the card that gets opened, and normally works once.
- Cashback. Returns a percentage of purchases paid with the card. Tied to a category and a monthly cap.
- Ecosystem conditions. Paying with the card in Uzum Market, Uzum Tezkor and other services brings additional terms.
How to use the referral code
- Order the card online. There is no need to visit a branch; the application is completed in the app.
- Enter the code during the application. This is the critical step — it cannot be entered later. Once the application is approved, adding it is no longer possible.
- Meet the condition. The bonus usually arrives after a first action rather than immediately — activating the card, or making a first payment.
- Check the account. If the bonus has not appeared, wait out the period stated in the terms, then contact support.
How to work out cashback
Advertising shows cashback at its highest rate, while three limits apply in practice. Category: the elevated rate usually covers selected categories, with a base rate on everything else. Monthly cap: cashback accrues up to a set amount and then stops. Minimum purchase: small payments may not qualify.
To find your real rate, compare your monthly spending with the cap. Below the cap, the advertised rate is your actual rate. Above it, every further amount earns nothing and your average rate falls.
When cashback arrives
Cashback does not arrive instantly, which is normal and works this way at almost every bank. It is usually credited after the transaction settles, most often the next day or at the end of the statement period. One detail matters: a cancelled or refunded purchase has its cashback taken back too.
So on a large purchase you might return, do not treat the cashback as money already spent. If the terms state no timeframe at all, reread the offer — a promise with no date cannot be checked against anything.
Why the bonus did not arrive
- The code was not entered during the application. The most common cause, and it cannot be fixed afterwards.
- The condition is not met yet. Many offers require a first payment or a certain amount.
- The date has not come round. A bonus may be credited at the end of the statement period.
- The purchase fell outside the cashback category. The base rate is considerably lower.
How it combines with a shop discount
The two do not interfere, because they come from different sides: the discount is the shop's offer, the cashback is the bank's. But the order matters — cashback is calculated on what was paid, meaning after the discount. A large discount shrinks the cashback with it.
So the combined benefit comes out smaller than the two added together. That is the order of calculation rather than a fault.
On the Uzum Bank page at PromoBozor every offer shows its conditions and the date it was last checked. Cashback rates and terms change over time, so read the current ones before ordering a card.
