How to save at JET

JET is an app-based electric scooter rental service in Uzbekistan. Its codes are usually personal invite codes from the Invite a Friend programme, which has run since 11 July 2024 and lasts until JET decides to end it. The terms below come from JET's referral rules for Uzbekistan, its user agreement and the FAQ on its website.

How the invite code works

  • The code is entered only during your first registration in the app, in the Promo code section.
  • A new user gets 50% off 2 payments, with the total discount capped at 20 000 UZS.
  • The code activates within 1 day and expires if it is not used within 30 days of activation. The discount works only on the per-minute tariff.

Why a code may not work

  • An account that has already had a discount from another promo code or paid in the app gets nothing. Each user can apply a code only once.
  • The discount covers only the licence payment for using the app. Scooter rental, insurance and fines are excluded, so your receipt may drop less than you expect.
  • A blocked account receives neither the discount nor the bonus.

If you invite a friend

  • Your personal code is generated once, automatically, in the app's Promo codes and discounts section.
  • If your friend pays at least 8 000 UZS in money within 30 calendar days of entering the code, 20 000 units reach your account within 1 day. Payments made with bonuses or discounts do not count, and the units cannot be exchanged for money.

Saving without a code

  • Depending on the city, the app may offer a subscription, a 60-minute tariff, a Daily Pass and minute packages; they appear after you pick a scooter.
  • The Daily Pass covers up to 15 rides a day (the number depends on the city), and each ride is free for up to 40 minutes.
  • The 15- and 30-minute packages last 24 hours, the 100-minute one 30 days, and unused minutes are not refunded.
  • With a Plus subscription, unlocking a scooter is free, and the subscription renews automatically. Bonuses on your bonus account must be used within 12 months.
