Main benefits (based on the tariffs published on uzumbank.uz):
- there is no charge to issue the plastic card, and the monthly service fee is 0 UZS;
- cashback goes as high as 30% at Uzum Market and Uzum Tezkor, and as high as 10% with partners;
- moving money from one Uzum card to another never costs anything;
- adding funds from a card issued by a different bank costs 0% when done in the Uzum Bank app;
- if the card is lost or stolen, blocking it is 0 UZS.
Limits to be aware of:
- Cash withdrawals are free only up to a point: 10,000,000 UZS per month at Uzum Bank ATMs, and 2,000,000 UZS at ATMs of other banks if you meet the campaign conditions, in which case the fee comes back to you as cashback within 15 minutes.
- Sending money to Humo and UzCard is not free: amounts up to 2 million UZS carry 0%, while from 2 to 100 million the rate is 0.2% with the campaign conditions met and 0.9% without them.
- The "up to 25,000,000 UZS" figure is not the card's limit; it refers to a Uzum Nasiya microloan, which runs 30 days free of interest, and the bank charges a fee under its tariffs when that money is moved to the card.
- Only residents of Uzbekistan can get the card.
Getting the card:
- Use the link to install the Uzum Bank app.
- Create an account and apply for the card online.
- Pick the card up at any Uzum Market pickup point or at an Uzum Bank card machine.
An earlier version of this page advertised cashback of "up to 20%". The bank's own page has no such figure, so it was corrected. The bank may change its tariffs as its customer agreement allows.
